Is there any ongoing effort in building an R package to interface with OpenAlex API? I’d love to contribute!

Update: Heather Piwowar just pointed out to me a few GitHub repositories that seem to be working, especially GitHub - KTH-Library/openalex: R package to provide data access to OpenAlex by way of REST API and GitHub - ekmaloney/openalexR: R Wrapper for the OpenAlex API to access academic publishing data.
