Is someone working on an R package for ClinicalTrials.gov? This is a very valuable resource and provides an open API in XML format.

Yes, it is at https://github.com/sachsmc/rclinicaltrials . On CRAN at http://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/rclinicaltrials/index.html

Thought I haven’t looked at how much it does/what it does

I wonder if rOpenHealth would want to invite that pkg to join them, ping @ledell

@sckott, good find! I did not know about this package. I will ping the author to see if he is interested in working with rOpenHealth.

I emailed the author last year - he was interested but never committed to joining. Would be good to remind him we are still here…
